History of the chair

The chair "Theory and methods physical culture and sports" was organized in 1966.  The first head was a senior lecturer D. V. Denchik, who worked until 1973. From 1973 to 1980 the chair was headed by senior lecturer M. M. Fedosov.

Worked at the chair of M.B. Saparbayev, B.K. Alibayev, V.M. Lesogor, L.M. Taranushenko, Yu.R. Irismetov, L.K. Kostritsa, I.A. Yuzkayev.

From 1980 to 2011, the chair was headed by c.p.s., associate professor E.D. Tleulov.

From november 2011 to august 2013, the chair was headed by c.p.s., associate professor Sadirmekova Zh.B.

Since september 2013, the chair is headed by c.p.s., associate professor A.T. Balabekov.

Specialty "Initial military training and physical culture" was opened in 1995 as part of the chair "Theory and methodology of physical culture".

The first head of the chair was appointed c.p.s., associate professor Tleulov E.D. Senior teachers colonel Azarov E.I., lieutenant colonel Nurtaev O.M., captain Akhmetov N.U., teachers Nurimov B.K. worked in the chair. The first graduates of the chair won prizes in a special competition among universities of the Republic and the region in this specialty.

In 2002, the chair was established as the chair of "Initial military training". Head of the chair was appointed c.p.s., associate of Mukhamedzharov T.K. In the same year, senior teachers of the chair lieutenant colonel G. Mamatkalykov, major D. Zhumagulov, captain N. U. Akhmetov, senior lieutenant S. K. Bekbosunov prepared twelve scientific papers and two manuals, took part in the high – level Republican conference of the faculty "Physical culture and sport-the formation of the foundations of a healthy lifestyle".

In 2004-2006, the head of the chair was a senior lecturer Akhmetov N. U.

In 2006-2007 head of the chair was senior teacher Elubayev S.I.

In 2007-2010 year, head of the chair was c.p.s., associate professor Sadyrmekova Zh.B.

In 2010-2013, the head of thechair held c.p.s., associate professor Balabekov A. T.

In 2013-2018 the head of the chair was c.p.s., associate professor Demeuov A. K.

From 2018 to 2019, the head of the chair was c.p.s., associate professor Zhanbolatov S.

Every year, the specialty 5B010400 - "Initial military training" prepares highly qualified specialists who meet the modern requirements of society.

In September 2019, the chair of "Initial military training" and the chair of "Theory and methodology of physical culture and sports" merged and renamed the chair of "Theory and methodology of physical culture and initial military training".

The chair is headed by candidate of pedagogical sciences Balabekov A. T.
