General information

   Department "Sports disciplines and single combats" was organized as a result of merging 2 departments: "Boxing and the national sport", "Sports and applied combat sports".

  Our students acquire the specialty 5B010800 - "Physical culture and sport" and upon graduation receive the qualification of "Bachelor of physical culture and sport".

   The Department trains specialists in sports: wrestling, Boxing, national sports, basketball, football, volleyball, athletics, swimming.

   The Department has for the training process: 2 - the hall of the struggle, 1-Boxing hall, 1 room bars, 1 games room, 1-athletics, 1-swimming pool, stadium. Gyms equipped with modern exercise equipment, exercise equipment, the necessary equipment for practicing Boxing, wrestling, game types, athletics and meet sanitary standards to ensure the implementation of training plans and programs provided the state educational standards of education.

   Department "Sports disciplines and single combats" is the winner in the nomination "the Best Department of M. Auezov SKSU" on the results of 2013-2014 academic year.

   In the 2017-2018 academic year, the Department has 14 teachers, 2 laboratory assistants. And there are 3 candidates of pedagogical Sciences, 1 Professor, 1 associate Professor and honored coach of Kazakhstan, judges of the international categories.
