Literary and historical week "Tugyry biik tulga-Temirbek Zhurgenov"
On April 17, 2023, the Faculty of "History and pedagogy","Philology" organized the opening of the literary and historical week at the University on the theme "Tugyry biik tulga-Temirbek Zhurgenov", dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Temirbek Zhurgenov. The opening ceremony of the week was attended by Associate Professor of the Department "History of Kazakhstan", candidate of historical sciences, Karibayev Sarsebay Uskenovich, cultural worker, Ph. D. D., professor Abuov Amrekul Ergeshovich, member of the Union of writers and journalists of Kazakhstan, historian, chronicler, winner of the state orders "Kurmet", "Labor Glory", medals "Eren enbegi ushin", "madeniyet salasyn uzdigi", "best local historian", honorary citizen of Kazygurt, Tolebi, Saryagash districts and the city of Shymkent Mombek Abdyakimovich and candidate of historical sciences, associate professor of the Department of jurisprudence and history of Shymkent University Abdurakhmanov Nurmukhamed Abdushamayevich took part.
The purpose of the week at the Republican level: to educate students with respect to historical figures of their country, providing information about T. Zhurgenov.
In order to preserve the memory of a person who made a great contribution to the development of Kazakh culture and set an example for young people,the event was attended by students monologues about T. Zhurgenov, the dance group "Gaukhartas", which gave the audience a good mood with their dances, songs "Kazakh bus", "Karagym-AI".
