Expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 27.01.2022, at 15:00, meetings were held offline at the Faculty of "History and Pedagogy", as well as at the departments of "Theory and Methodology of preschool and Primary Education", "Political Science", "History of Kazakhstan", "General History and Museum Business", "Modern Pedagogy and Psychology", "Special Pedagogy and Psychology".

At an expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, all topical issues, the results of work in the field of education and science in 2021 and tasks for 2022 were discussed. Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov took part in the meeting of the board. The meeting was moderated by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov.

"The Ministry of Education and Science plans to introduce a new teaching tool into the higher education system. "Online learning" will become a new format of learning. The first online universities will open in the country. In general, the number of grants for higher education will increase by 5 thousand, of which 60% will be allocated to technical specialties. We have also started work on revising the Bolashak program. In accordance with the instruction of the Head of State, special attention will be paid to the training of technical personnel. Grants for the technical and IT industries will be increased from 40% to 60%," Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanysh Yergaliyev said.

In 2021, the funding of science has increased by 2 times. Scientists are given new opportunities to implement their scientific ideas.

Work will continue on the material and technical renewal of research institutes. A set of special measures will also be taken to develop close cooperation between universities and research institutes.

On behalf of the Head of state, scholarships for students of higher educational institutions will be increased from September 1, 2022. This organism is a good support for students, an incentive for higher and postgraduate education. In addition, it allows students to conduct scientific research in their free time without being distracted by job search.
