November 29, 2021 at 10-00 in the 7-building of YuKU named after M. Auezov at the faculty of "History and Pedagogy" of the department "General History and Museum Business", "History of Kazakhstan", "Political Science" organized an "Open Doors Day". Schools and lyceum of Shymkent were invited to the event: school-gymnasium №1 named after Pushkin, IT school-lyceum №7 named after K. Sypataeva, IT school-lyceum №24, school №41, school №54, school №71, school-lyceum №111 named. M. Mametova.

The event was opened and made by the director of the Center for Vocational Guidance (CPR) M.Zh. Aytureev, who introduced the new rules for the delivery and implementation of the UNT. Then the dean of the faculty "History and Pedagogy", Ph.D., associate professor Urazbayev K.M., head. departments G. Otarbaeva, S. Zhunisbaev, M. Zhumabekov, who told the students about the specifics of the EP and the available specialties. School graduates watched videos about the university, the history of the proposed departments, and students prepared for them sketches of the historical path of Kazakhstan's independence. On the ZOOM platform, alumni of the Department of General History and Museum Science joined the event participants online with warm greetings. At the end of the meeting, schoolchildren received answers to their questions, then an excursion was organized around the university, libraries, educational laboratories of the university.
