Every nation, every civilization has its own holy places, which are of a national nature and which each representative of that people knows. This is one of the foundations of the spiritual tradition. This is especially important for Kazakhstan. We are a wide country with a rich spiritual history. Communication between people in this spiritual geographical zone has never been interrupted. On November 26, 2021, a senior lecturer at the History of Kazakhstan department, A.O. Mukasheva, held a lecture in the IP-20-2k group on the topic "Nationwide Holy Places and History Education."

During the lecture, the following issues were considered: the essence and structure of sacred geography, the importance of nationwide sacred places in the modernization of historical consciousness and the role in the education of patriotism, sacred places of the Turkestan region and the city of Shymkent. At the end of the lesson, a mini-quiz was held on students' knowledge of the sacred places of the Turkestan region.
