"Summary CUP" tournament
South Kazakhstan University named after Mukhtar Auezov hosted an open regional literary debate tournament dedicated to the cup of the dean of the Faculty of Philology. 3rd year student of the Faculty of History and pedagogy Amirova Perizat Meirambekovna took the first place.
The tournament was organized by the debate Center “Akikat”, which was created at the University Youth Center.
There have been many tournaments in the debating world to this day. At tournaments, he usually discussed resolutions built on historical and political topics. And the "Summary CUP" tournament was held in an unusual format from other tournaments. That is, young people discussed important issues in society, analyzing the works of great Kazakh writers. The purpose of this tournament was to increase the interest of young people in books, to promote the reading of high - profile works of Kazakh literature. The topics of the tournament were the best works of such Zangar writers as the great Abai, Mukhtar Auezov and Mukhtar Magauin.
A total of 64 speakers took part in the competition. In addition to the participants, the judges also read all 5 works discussed at the tournament. At the tournament, speakers competed in APF and LD formats. The winners, along with financial prizes, were awarded books from the publishing house “Qasym”.
